The band's music has successfully weathered several music format changes over the years - vinyl, cassette, CD, downloads, and most recently streaming, where their music has been embraced by a whole new generation. It's the UK's best-selling album of all time, and the only record to have sold over 6 million copies. This week sees Queen release a 40th anniversary reissue of their 1981 Greatest Hits, which could return to Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart for the first time since its original four-week run at the summit. It may be 30 years since the original Queen lineup performed and released music together, but the impact of their music is still fully felt today - and continues to enjoy plenty of chart success.
